Dean Keates Offers Praise For Walsall's Travelling Support

Walsall manager Dean Keates has spoken to the press following Saturday's disappointing awayday defeat to Coventry City and praised the Saddlers travelling support for staying behind the team for the whole of the game.
Keates, who is under increasing pressure as his team continue to slip ever-closer to the League One relegation zone - losing each of their last five league outings - admitted that some of his squad have found the fans' feedback hard to deal with but praised the 800+ who made the trip to Ricoh Arena for their 'unbelievable support'.

Speaking to the assembled media, Dean said; "Unbelievable support, you could hear them all the way through. I have mentioned it, that [it’s] the case this season that a few of them have found it hard.

"A few people criticising, but that’s football and them eight hundred today sung their hearts out and gave everything for the football club. They need a team that replicates that on the pitch."
