Horace Brisbourne

Long-serving Match Official Liaison Officer and Matchday Mascot Coordinator Horace Brisbourne has passed away.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of Saddlers stalwart, Horace Brisbourne, who worked at the club for forty years.

Horace, who was the club’s Match Official Liaison Officer and Matchday Mascot Coordinator, joined the then Fellows Park side in the late 1970’s and continued to work at the Banks’s Stadium up until his illness at the beginning of the current campaign.

Walsall's official website Saddlers.co.uk broke the news of Horace's passing earlier today, - paying tribute - club journalists wrote; 'Highly thought of by everyone at the club from Directors to players, staff to supporters; he will be sadly and truly missed. Our thoughts are with wife Brenda, the family and all of Horace’s friends at this very sad time.'

We would also like to offer our condolences to Horace's family, friends and colleagues during this sad time.
