Walsall were back in action on Saturday morning as they welcomed Hereford to their Training Ground for a behind closed doors pre-season clash.Looking to add more match minutes ahead of the new campaign, the team was made up of currently contracted players and a handful of trialists as Head Coach Mat Saddler looks to rebuild his team following last season's Play-Off FInal defeat.
Originally scheduled to kick-off at midday, the match was moved to an 11.00am kick-off as the teams attempted to avoid the worst of the hot conditions.

The Saddlers were able to overcome their opponents by three goals to nil as summer signing Aaron Pressley was joined on the scoresheet by Josh Gordon and Charlie Lakin on a sweltering day in Essington.
