Red Heart Day - Footballers and Boxers to Clash in the Name of Charity

A team of Walsall Legends will take on a team of boxers as they look to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital and the British Heart Foundation.
A team of Walsall legends will be in action on Sunday, 16th July as they take on a team of Boxers in a charity match in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital and the British Heart Foundation.

The match, which will take place at Red Star AFC's Middlemore Lane Ground in Aldridge (WS9 8DN), has been organised by former British Lightweight Champion Martin Gethin, his wife Sherilyn, and boxing brothers Steven and Darren, along with support from the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust.

All proceeds from the day, which will also include several other events, including a barbecue, raffle, bouncy castle, and plenty of stalls, will be donated to the above charities with entry costing just £2.
