Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press as he continues to look forward to the 2015/16 campaign, and has dismissed any interest in soon-to-be free agent, Emmanuel Ledesma.

Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press as he continues to look forward to the 2015/16 campaign, and has dismissed any interest in soon-to-be free agent, Emmanuel Ledesma.

Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Dean said: "I think people know my fondness for Emmanuel as a player but I think wages-wise he is probably out of our reach in all honesty.

"What he can command now would be tough for us to compete with. He went on loan to Rotherham and Brighton last season and I think there will be plenty of takers for him."
