Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press as he continues to look forward to the 2015/16 campaign, and has confirmed his interest in Huddersfield Town midfielder, Oscar Gobern.
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Dean said: "Oscar is a player that I like. I've been contacted by his agent but he is just one that is on the radar at the moment. He is on the list along with a few others.
"Myself, Richard O'Kelly and Neil Cutler have met with a number of players. We're close with two or three but the good thing with us this season is that we haven't got a massive turnover."
