Speaking to 'The Leader', Kieron said; “It was a good experience at Wrexham. I was not in the team at Walsall so I needed to go out on loan to get games, more experience, and get some recognition.
“As soon as Wrexham came in it was the perfect opportunity to go. I went to Wrexham and did very well. I scored four goals, two in the Trophy semi-final at Torquay which was brilliant and the winner in the derby, and got one at Altrincham which was a really good goal,” said Morris, who made 13 appearances during his time in north Wales.
“It was brilliant to play at Wembley, but not the result. I enjoyed it at Wrexham, I played with some great players and felt confident there. It helped me improve as a player and got me where I am, it got me a new contract.
“When I left Wrexham I didn’t think I would get in the team. Two days later we had a game at Notts County, I had a feeling I might be on the bench but the gaffer put me straight in the team.
“I started the second game back at Peterborough, I thought I was the best player on the pitch and stayed in the team after that.
“The fourth game I scored from 20 yards off the crossbar and was man of the match. I was in form then and took all the confidence from Wrexham into Walsall.
“I want to be a regular starter in the team but the hard work carries on. This is just a step, I want to keep improving and go further. The main aim is to challenge for promotion and hopefully get in the play-offs.”
