Walsall Football Club have today released details of a vacancy in their medical department, giving a successful candidate the opportunity to work with, and learn from, Head Physio Jon Whitney.
Released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm that they are looking for; "An enthusiastic post-graduate physiotherapist/sports therapist to join the Medical Team here at Walsall FC for the 2015/16 season.
"The placement will be mentor-led and the successful applicant will gain valuable experience and guidance from several health care professional within the club.
"Walsall FC wholly endorses the Bases position stand on unpaid internships and you will be expected to shadow your assigned mentor, Jon Whitney, who will provide you with a targeted and directed CPD Pathway.

"If you are a post-graduate physiotherapist / sports therapist, and live within a 25-mile radius of the Training Ground in Essington for the duration of the placement, please send a CV with cover letter to [email protected].
"Interviews will take place in May and the successful applicant will be expected to start in July 2015 and work through to May 2016.
"The closing date for applications is May 7th 2015."
