As part of Walsall Football Club's annual End of Season Awards Night, which takes place at Banks's Stadium on Sunday, 3rd May, the club are giving supporters the chance to vote for the 'Fan of the Season'.

The club recently invited nominations and there were numerous worthy candidates submitted, however, they have whittled it down to a top three and are now asking supporters to vote for the most deserving of this accolade.

Simply email your choice to: [email protected]. The voting closes at noon on Monday, April 27th 2015.

Here are the three contenders...

DENNIS EVANS is 88 years of age and has supported The Saddlers since the early 1950s when he moved to Walsall from his native North Wales. He has been a season ticket holder for many years and, despite severe arthritis, queued for five hours for Wembley tickets on the first day of sale to ensure that all his family and friends were sat together.

GRAEME BROOKES is a lifelong supporter of the club following in a long family tradition that has spanned many generations.

He embarked upon a challenge to walk from Walsall to Wembley ahead of our Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final in March in memory of his grandfather and to raise funds for Walsall Society for the Blind.

IAN MICKLEWRIGHT came close to winning the award last season for his fantastic commitment in attending all home games even though he lives in Germany! He has been a season ticket holder for over 15 years and hasn’t let the small matter of living in another country stop him from being at Banks’s Stadium for every home game during the past three seasons.
