Walsall head coach Lee Grant is being considered for the vacant Preston North End job, with talkSPORT reporting that he is on a reduced shortlist drawn from an initial pool of around fifty potential new gaffers.Preston parted company with manager Paul Heckingbottom last week after enduring a difficult start to the Championship season, securing only one win from their opening six games.
North End announced that former Wimbledon, Charlton Athletic and Southampton midfielder Jason Euell has stepped in as interim manager while the club looks for a permanent replacement.
