Walsall defenders Elicha Ahui and James Connolly have been named in the Football League Paper's League Two Team of the Day following their strong performances against Port Vale at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

Going into the game on the back of two goalless draws the Saddlers added to the Valiants' early season woes as goals from Connolly and Andrew Dallas saw the Saddlers move closer to the top of the table as their opponents slipped into the bottom two.
