Walsall have been linked with a move for Grimsby Town midfielder Evan Khouri after the 23-year-old reportedly rejected a new contract at Blundell Park.A product of both the West Ham United and Grimsby academy systems, Khouri joined the Mariners on a scholarship in 2019, before turning professional in 2021.
Primarily a central midfielder, Evan is left-footed and can also play on the wing or behind the attacking line; he made forty-two first-team appearances during the Mariners' 2025/26 campaign.
Under new boss Lee Grant, Walsall, who are said to be battling Gillingham for Khouri's signature, will be looking to add several new players to their first-team squad as we head into another season of shuffle in WS1.
