Happy Fixture Release Day to all who celebrate! Today sees the release of the fixtures for all clubs in the Championship, League One, and League Two, as well as the Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy.Beginning at midday, clubs across the EFL will hit send on their official fixture schedule, with fans up and down the land keen to find out which team their favourites will take on during the opening weekend, along with the traditional Boxing Day and New Year's Day games.
Following on at 2.30pm is the draw for the group stage of the EFL Trophy. With the league teams already added to their groups, we'll find out which invited team will be joining their counterparts in the tournament.
And finally, from around 4.30pm the draw for Round One of the 2026/27 Carabao Cup will take place, with this and the EFL Trophy selections being made live on Sky Sports News.
