As the new season draws ever closer, it has been confirmed that Walsall will take on Sky Bet League One side Notts County at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on Saturday, 1st August, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.Martin Paterson's side, who recently clinched promotion to the third tier with victory at Wembley in the play-off final against Salford City, will provide another stern test for Lee Grant's side as part of our preparations for the upcoming 2026/27 Sky Bet League Two campaign and give supporters a valuable opportunity to see the Saddlers in action at WS1.
The Club also confirmed that, alongside the already confirmed friendlies against Leamington, Aston Villa and AFC Telford United, this will conclude the Saddlers' pre-season programme, with further friendlies scheduled to be played behind closed doors.
