As he prepares for life away from WS1, midfielder Brandon Comley has become the latest player to issue a statement thanking all at the club for their support.Named among a list of players set to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June, Comley admitted he was disappointed to be leaving and wanted to wish everyone well for the future.
Arriving at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium from Dagenham & Redbridge ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, Comley went on to make 155 appearances and scored two goals.
Speaking via his official Instagram account, Brandon said: "So, I guess it’s time to say goodbye; unfortunately, my time at Walsall has come to an end.
"I’m sad to be leaving, but I wish the club nothing but success for the future.
"I want to give a big thank you to all the staff I’ve worked with over the years — especially those behind the scenes who don’t always get the recognition they deserve.
"Your support over the last four years has meant a lot and definitely hasn’t gone unnoticed.
"And finally, to the fans — I wish we could’ve taken this club back up the leagues, but I’ve made so many memories here that will stay with me for life."
