Following the news that he was among a lengthy group of players set to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June, midfielder Jamie Jellis has taken to social media to thank everyone at Walsall FC for their support during his time in WS1.Joining the club from Tamworth in January 2024, 25-year-old Jellis went on to make a total of one hundred first-team appearances, scoring eight goals and wishes to express his gratitude to those who supported him during his stay.
Speaking via his official Instagram account, Jamie said: "Where to start… 2 and a half years at this club and what a rollercoaster it’s been. If you would have told me I would have played 100 times and played at Wembley this time 2 years ago, I would have chuckled!
"I’ve been through so many tough times in the last year or so, and I’ve come out of it a stronger person!
