The FA Cup: Walsall's Second Round Opponents Confirmed

We now know who Walsall will be facing in the Second Round of the world's oldest domestic cup competition.

Walsall have been drawn away to Enterprise National League side Gateshead in the Second Round (proper) of the 2025/26 Emirates FA Cup.

The Saddlers secured their place in the Second Round of the competition with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over National League side Eastleigh on Sunday afternoon, as goals from Evan Weir, Daniel Kanu, and Jamille Matt saw off the Spitfires.

Ties in the Second Round will be played on or around the weekend of Saturday, 6th December 2025 with winning teams collecting £75,000 from the competition prize fund.
