Albert Adomah, ambassador for Community, has already attended a handful of Walsall FC Foundation Soccer Schools this year, even running his own skills sessions on one occasion, he remains passionate about the difference players can make to fans and residents in the local area.
Speaking via the club's official website, Albert said: "The most important thing is giving back to the community, which is always great.
"Even just that little appearance, where they can see a professional footballer in the flesh and are able to meet us.
"I like to see the joy on the youngsters’ faces. It’s something us players love to do and hope that something like this will inspire them in the future."
Members of the Walsall FC Former Players’ Association and current Foundation trustees Adam Chambers and Don Goodman joined Foundation Director Adam Davy to speak to the players last month about the importance of impacting the local community.
Club legend Jimmy Walker also popped in to join the group at the training ground and share some of his experiences, both on and off the pitch.
Adam Davy said: "The ambassadors’ role will be to promote our key themes in the Walsall community, using their platform to highlight what we do.
"Walsall FC is proud to be recognised as a community club, and we’re pleased to have the players supporting our work."
