There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Ronan Maher - Tamworth
Ronan was named in the starting XI as Tamworth and Blackburn Rovers Under-21s met in a National League Cup clash at the Altair Community Stadium.
The match went the way of the Lambs as goals from Alfie Bates, who netted with just two-minutes on the clock, Matt Curley, and Oli Lynch saw them ease to victory.
Ronan, who provided the cross for Curley's goal, didn't complete the game as he was replaced by Jordan Ponticelli just a couple of minutes after the match had reached the hour mark.
Levi Amantchi - Rochdale
Levi started and completed the whole ninety minutes as the Dale took on Everton Under-21s in a National League Cup clash at the Crown Oil Arena.
There was only one goal to separate the sides, and it went the way of the hosts, as Jake Burger saw an effort deflect beyond goalkeeper George Pickford and into the back of the net.
A welcome ninety minutes for Levi!
Charlie Wragg - Halesowen Town
Charlie was named on the bench as the Yeltz visited the Arden Garages Arena and took on Stratford Town in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central on Tuesday evening.
The game itself was the least important event of the evening as, after a Dan Vann header had given the Bards a 1-0 half-time lead, the match was ultimately abandoned due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
We send out thoughts to all those affected and hope for positive news when it is made available.
