Walsall midfielder Brandon Comley was in action on Wednesday evening as Montserrat took on Belize in the second round of CONCACAF qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After losing their first two Group D games, Montserrat were hoping to finally get some points on the board as they took on a Belize side that had also lost its opening two outings.
Taking place at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago, the match was a tight affair with just one goal separating the sides as midfielder Mark Rogers put the Emerald Boys ahead with just two minutes on the clock.
Brandon, who was named captain and played for the full ninety minutes, will be back in action next Wednesday as he takes on Liam Gordon's Guyana, who must first face Nicaragua on Saturday evening.
