
Despite their early hopes of securing automatic promotion to League One crumbling into an eventual place in the Play-Offs, many chose to look at the positives and hopefully use the disappointment of the Play-Off Final defeat to AFC Wimbledon as fuel for the new campaign.
On-loan Stoke City, and Walsall born Goalkeeper Tommy Simkin posted: "Although Monday didn’t go to plan, it’s truly been an experience for us all, and a learning curve for the challenges ahead.

Player of the Season Taylor Allen said: "Gutted! Monday wasn't our day. A season which we all will look back on and know how different it should of been.
"That being said, I’m proud of the people I’ve shared the journey with this season. It’s hard to take, however the only thing we can do now is to have an understanding of the season and be ready to go again even harder next season.
"Thank you to all the support along the way, saddlers fans. We will be ready to go again."
On loan Charlton Athletic winger Nathan Asiimwe said: "Not the end we imagined for ourselves, but it was a pleasure to share the experience with an amazing group of people and an unreal fanbase.
"It's been a long and eventful season, and I am grateful to God always for where I am. Onto the 25/26!"
Jamie Jellis posted: "Genuinely heartbroken individually and as a team we gave everything this year!
"Through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and through them emotions we made it to Wembley and had the opportunity to play in front of you unreal fans 1 more time on the biggest of stages!
"I’m sorry we couldn’t get over the line and get the job done but it’s fuel for the fire and a feeling that me and the club will use to go again next season!
"Personally it’s been a pleasure to play for this club this year share the pitch with a great group of lads and play in front of you amazing fans who have welcomed me back into my first full season in the EFL so for that I thank you! We will be back stronger than ever!"
