Walsall defender Joe Foulkes and midfielder Joe Willis are currently away on short-term loan deals as they look to force their way into Matthew Taylor's first-team plans.

Both are plying their trade in the Vanarama National League North as Foulkes is at Aggborough with Kidderminster Harriers, whilst Willis recently joined Leamington on a one-month youth loan.

Joe Foulkes continues to receive treatment for an injury and as such played no part in Kidderminster's Emirates FA Cup - First Round victory over Grimsby Town as former Saddler Ashley Hemmings netted the only goal of the game to secure the Harriers a place in Monday's Second Round draw.

Meanwhile, Joe Willis had to settle for a place on the bench as Leamington travelled to Croft Park and took on Blyth Spartans in their latest National League - North outing of the campaign.

Willis, who has been in fine form since joining the Brakes, was only able to enjoy a few minutes of action as he came on to replace Callum Gittings in the 90th minute, by which time his side had already confirmed the win.

The travelling Brakes secured all three points with a two-goal scoreline as Devon Kelly-Evans (41') and Joe Clarke (50'), who smashed the ball home from around the half-way line, scored to stretch their side's unbeaten run to four league games ahead of Tuesday;s clash with York City.
