Liam Kinsella Signs New Walsall Deal

A long-serving Saddlers midfielder has penned a new deal with the club.
Walsall Football Club have announced that long-serving midfielder Liam Kinsella has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him in WS1 until at least the summer of 2023.

The 24-year-old has featured in every league game so far this season and is a key figure in the Saddlers midfield engine room.

Born in Colchester, Kinsella has made 154 first-team appearances for Walsall, having come through the club’s academy, joining as an eight year-old.

The son of former Saddler Mark, Liam made his first-team debut against Bradford City in August 2014 and netted his first goal in October 2015, against Burton Albion.

Saddlers boss Darrell Clarke was pleased see the midfielder sign fresh terms, speaking via the club's official website, Darrell said; "I’m delighted Liam has signed a new contract with the club.

"He’s a great professional with a great attitude and he epitomises what I want at the football club so I’m pleased to continue working with him."
