Liam Kinsella 'Delighted' to Sign a New Walsall Deal

Liam Kinsella has committed his future to the club.
Speaking after he agreed a new deal which will see him extend his stay until at least the summer of 2023, Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella has admitted he is delighted to continue his career in WS1.

Born in Colchester, Liam is a product of the club's youth system, and has gone on to make over 150 first-team appearances since making his debut against Bradford City in 2014.

One of the 24-year-old's most memorable moments in a Saddlers shirt came against Sunderland in the Emirates FA Cup - Second Round replay back in December 2018, Liam unleashing a rocket into the back of the Black Cats' net.

Kinsella, who has featured in every league game so far this season, admitted he was delighted to sign a new deal with the club and is looking forward to continuing his journey at Banks’s Stadium.

Speaking via the club's official website, Liam said; "I am delighted to sign a new deal with the club. I have been here for a long time now and I am lucky enough to continue the journey with this great club.

"It was a very proud moment for me when I played my 150th game. I have signed a new deal now and hopefully I can continue to rack up the appearances for the club and I’d now like to go on and make 200, maybe even 250 appearances for the club."
