STAY INtertoto Cup: Elijah Adebayo's Cyber Saddlers Reach the Quarter Finals

As the world of professional sport continues on the back burner thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic attention has turned to the world of eSports with players from around the globe competing in a variety of sports from Formula 1 to Football and much in between.

As reported last week, the Saddlers have their very own eSports master in the shape of striker Elijah Adebayo with the former Fulham prospect representing the club in a duo of FIFA 20 tournaments, with the most recent competition - the STAY INtertoto Cup - seeing him continuing to crush the competition.

Following his Group M victories over Blackburn Rovers, Crewe Alexandra and Finn Harps Elijah was able to continue his fine spell of form, earning an aggregate win over Sligo Rovers - the Saddlers winning 5-3 over two games - in the last sixteen.

This afternoon (Wednesday) the highly-rated striker sat down to take on Swansea City, who were represented by on-loan Watford defender Ben Wilmot, and was once again able to overcome his opposition - winning 5-3 on aggregate - securing a Quarter-Final place.
