The Trust Donates £1,000 to Acorns Children's Hospice

In a statement released via their official website the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have announced that they were recently able to donate £1,000 to Walsall's Acorns Children's Hospice thanks to a recent fundraising calendar.
Did you know it costs from as little as £2 per season to become a member of the Trust? If you'd like further information, or would like to join the organisation, visit their website, WalsallFCTrust.com for details.

The statement, which you can read HERE, states; We are delighted to announce that we have today donated £1,000 to Walsall Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The £1,000 we raised was from the profits we made from 2020 Walsall FC Legends Calendars.

The money donated is specifically to help our local Children’s Hospice to continue with their wonderful work with local people.

Acorns Black Country Hospice in Walsall has been given hope, following a commitment of significant new NHS funding from Black Country healthcare commissioners, and a pledge from NHS England to double their central funding support to the country’s children’s hospices over the next five years.

However, they must still reach their £2m target to ensure the long-term delivery of their specialist children’s hospice care across the Black Country and to always be there for any child or family in the region who needs them.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a calendar.
