Mitchel Candlin joins Nuneaton Borough on Short-Term Loan Deal

Walsall FC have confirmed that young forward Mitch Candlin has joined BetVictor Southern League Central Division side Nuneaton Borough, on an initial 28-day loan.

Subject to clearance, Stafford-born Candlin will be available for Borough's game against Biggleswade Town on Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old prospect has been the subject of plenty of interest over recent seasons with clubs from up and down the football pyramid taking a look at him.

Mitch spent half of last season on loan with Blackburn Rovers as the Ewood Park club gave him an opportunity to prove his worth, however, a deal wasn't agreed as he ultimately returned to WS1.
