Carabao Cup: Round One Draw Numbers

The draw for Round One of this season's Carabao Cup will take place at a Morrisons supermarket in Barnet on Thursday evening and, thanks to the EFL, we can bring you details of the all-important numbers to look out for.
Darrell Clarke's Saddlers, who were knocked out by Macclesfield Town at the Second Round of last season's competition under then-manager Dean Keates, will be in the Southern Section of this season's draw and have been given ball number 32.

Former England international's John Barnes and Ray Parlour have been called in to make the draw with a total of seventy clubs from the Championship, League One and League Two entering at the First Round stage.

Live from Morrisons in Colindale, the draw will take place at 7.00pm this evening with the destination of choice being within a short distance from Wembley Stadium – the home of the England national side and the Carabao Cup Final.

Recently relegated Huddersfield Town will be included in the draw, while fellow Championship newcomers Cardiff City and Fulham will join the competition in Round Two alongside the Premier League Clubs that are not competing in the various European competitions.

Matches are scheduled to take place during the week commencing Monday, 12th August, with broadcaster Sky Sports expected to select at least two games to show on Sky Sports Football.
