Carabao Cup: Walsall Drawn at Home in Round One

The Northern and Southern draws for Round One of this season's Carabao Cup competition were held at a Morrisons supermarket in Barnet earlier this evening. Here you can find out who the Saddlers will be facing off for a place in Round Two.
Conducted by former England internationals John Barnes and Ray Parlour, seventy clubs from the Championship, League One, and League Two the draw was split into Northern and Southern sections with the matches due to be played during the week commencing Monday, 12th August.

Walsall, who will be led into the competition by recently-appointed manager Darrell Clarke, will be facing Crawley Town at Banks's Stadium, with their clash likely to take place at 7.45pm on Tuesday, 13th August.

The Saddlers will be hoping to have a better competition than last season as they were knocked out by League Two outfit Macclesfield Town on penalties during the Second Round stage.
