Youth Alliance: Walsall to Face Rochdale Later Today

Walsall's under-18s are back in action later today as they take on Rochdale in their latest EFL Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.
Graham Biggs's Walsall Under-18s are back in action later this morning as they play host to title-chasing Rochdale Under-18s in their latest EFL Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.

The young Saddlers, who began the season with a surprisingly vast injury list, haven't had the greatest of seasons and find themselves in twelfth position in the Alliance table having won just three of their fourteen games.

Walsall's most recent outing took place on Saturday, 10th February and saw them slip to a last-minute defeat to Blackpool as Will Dunne's injury time strike secured three points for the Seasiders.

Second-placed Rochdale haven't been in action for several weeks but remain within reach of league-leaders Wigan Athletic as they have three games in hand over the in-form Latics, a side which Dale defeated by two-goals-to-nil in their most recent outing.

This morning's match is scheduled to take place at the Birmingham County FA's Headquarters on Ray Hall Lane in Great Barr. Kick-off takes place at 11.00am, and we will bring you an update via our social media channels later today.
