Blackburn Rovers (H): News of Potential Travel Disruption

Walsall have issued a statement warning supporters of potential traffic disruption heading into Saturday's League One clash between Walsall and Blackburn Rovers.
Walsall FC have issued a brief statement warning supporters of potential traffic disruption heading into Saturday afternoon's clash between Walsall and League One leaders Blackburn Rovers, who will be visiting Banks's Stadium for the first time since October 1999.

The statement, which was issued via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk, confirms that Walsall and Blackburn supporters attending Saturday's clash should be aware of possible delays on the M6 as essential repairs being undertaken between Junction 6 and Junction 8, there will also be night time closures on this section of the motorway.

Additionally, on Saturday and Sunday, the M6 northbound ONLY will be restricted to just one operational lane during the daytime, with delays expected between 7am and 8pm each day.

There will also be daytime restrictions from the A34 and onto the northbound slip road at Junction 7. Please allow plenty of extra time if you plan to use the M6 northbound this weekend.
