Liam Kinsella: 'Our Confidence is High Heading into Blackpool Clash'

Liam Kinsella is keen to make the most of the Saddlers' upcoming games as he and his teammates look to move away from the League One relegation zone.
Walsall right-back Liam Kinsella has spoken to the press ahead of Saturday's League One clash with Blackpool, and insisted that he and his teammates are keen to make the most of their upcoming fixtures with teams in similar league positions.

Liam, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "Confidence among the players is really high going into Blackpool. It was a good win against MK Dons but now we have got Blackpool, Doncaster and Gillingham. They are all around us in the table. They are all winnable games.

"And it’s up to us now to go out and beat them and push ourselves up the table to where we belong. We believe we are good enough to be in the top 10. But it’s up to us to go out and prove it. These next three games are a big opportunity for us."

Colchester-born Kinsella, who is set to make his twenty-first appearance of the season this weekend, went on to talk about his spell ion the first-team, admitting that he has been pleased with his form since securing a spot in Jon Whitney's starting line-up, he continued; "I try to take things day by day and not get carried away but I’m playing every game and enjoying it. Overall I have been really happy with my performances.

"There have been a few games where you look back and feel you could have done better. But the important thing is to not be too hard on yourself because the games come thick and fast."
