The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have released a statement confirming that their Walsall Legends side will take on a Supporters XI in a match which will be held at Rushall Olympics' Dales Lane Ground on Sunday, 1st October, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00pm.
News, released via WalsallFCTrust.org.uk, confirms that the fans' team will consist of twenty-two supporters paying £10 each to play, with each getting playtime during the game. The supporters squad will be up against a squad of Saddlers legends and selected guest players as they battle it out for supremacy.
Various sponsorship and mascot opportunities will also be made available within the coming weeks and a matchday programme and raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day as well the opportunity to renew or take out your membership with the Trust if you haven't already done so by then.
