Leahy - "I Can't Wait to Get Started"

24-year-old, Coventry-born Leahy, who can also play in midfield, joined Falkirk from Rugby Town in 2012 and has gone on to make over 150 first-team appearances, scoring twelve goals along the way.

Following that news that Walsall had signed former Falkirk defender Luke Leahy on a two-year deal, the Coventry-born defender has spoken to club journalists and discussed his desire to get the season underway.

24-year-old Leahy, who can also play in midfield, briefly spoke to Walsall Press Officer Ashley Wilkinson and said; "I’m delighted to sign and just having a look round the place, it’s brilliant and I can’t wait to get started. When I used to drive home from Scotland, I always used to see the Tile Choice Stand from the M6. I’m really impressed with the set-up and I can’t wait to get started."
