Following plenty of social media speculation, Walsall Football Club have announced that they have come to terms on a contract with soon-to-be former Falkirk defender Luke Leahy, who will be joining the Saddlers once his contract expires on Friday, 30th June.

24-year-old, Coventry-born Leahy, who can also play in midfield, joined Falkirk from Rugby Town in 2012 and has gone on to make over 150 first-team appearances, scoring twelve goals along the way.

The club have confirmed that Luke has penned a two-year deal and becomes the first signing of what is proving to be a long summer.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Luke to the club, and wish him all the very best as he begins his spell with the Saddlers.
