Walsall Football Club have today announced the signing of 19-year-old central defender Theo Vassell, following a successful trial spell.
Stoke born Vassell, who has agreed a one-year-deal with an option for a further year, began his career with the Potters but failed to make an appearance for the first-team before joining Oldham Athletic in October 2015.
Theo was a free agent having been released at the end of last season, and has joined the Saddlers' pre-season training upon the recommendation of ex-Oldham coach Dean Holden.
