Walsall Football Club will be holding an Open Training Session and a Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday, giving supporters the chance to see several of their favourite players in action and take part in several games and competitions.

Information, released via Saddlers.co.uk, confirms; Head down to the Stadium this Bank Holiday to get up close and personal to Jon Whitney’s men as we gear up for an exciting end to the season! Get closer to the players than ever before as they perform a live training session out on the Banks's pitch before mingling with supporters.

You’ll be able to chat to members of the squad and pose for a picture or two in an interactive day of fun!

And remember, with no more home games before the end of the Early Bird season ticket offer, it’s an ideal time to renew for 2016/17!

It all begins at 9:30am outside of Main Reception where you can enjoy some family fun ahead of the session. Look out for members of the team who will be spending some time in the club shop (open from 9:30am).

The doors to the stadium then open at 10:45am for fans to get seated in time for the training session to begin at 11am. The session lasts approximately an hour and a half with the fun day coming to a conclusion at approximately 1pm.

Refreshments can be purchased from the kiosks located at the end of the HomeServe Stand with a selection of food and drink on offer.

Jon Whitney and his coaching staff will provide an insight into their carefully planned training programme and we’ll hear from the players throughout the course of the morning.

The day is free of charge and full of fun so come on down this Monday morning. You might even catch a glimpse of Swifty as well!
