Reports on the Doncaster Free Press website suggest that Paul Dickov's Doncaster Rovers side approached Walsall regarding the availability of Saddlers top-scorer Tom Bradshaw in January.
The newspaper insist; "Dickov is a known admirer of the 22-year-old and it is obvious why. He is exactly the sort of ‘fox-in-the-box’ frontman that Doncaster have been missing.
"Rovers are thought to have made an enquiry about the former Shrewsbury striker in January but they are unlikely to be able to meet Walsall’s asking price."
