Walsall Football Club have this evening offered a brief update on the injury status of top scorer Tom Bradshaw, who limped off during last weekend's draw with top-of-the-table Bristol City.

Commenting via Twitter, the club confirmed; "There is more good news with Tom Bradshaw's scan on his troublesome hamstring showing no tear. He is likely to be out for up to 2 weeks."

Dean Smith also added, via the club's official Facebook page; "It's better news than we first feared. It's just a strain so we expect him back in a couple of weeks."

It is understood that Tom has a strain to the "sheath" that surrounds his hamstring, rather than the muscle itself.
