Earlier this evening Walsall defeated Rochdale 1-0 at Spotland, to progress to the Northern Area Quarter Final of this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy.A goal from Mathieu Manset, mid-way through the first half was enough to hand the Saddlers' victory, and the result will give Walsall at least some revenge for the 4-0 mauling they suffered earlier this season.
The draw for the quarter final will take place on Saturday (11th October) on Sky Sports' 'Soccer AM' programme, with Helen Chamberlain and Max Rushden drawing the teams.
The teams Walsall could be pitted against include; Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers, Oldham Athletic, Tranmere Rovers, Bury, Preston North End, and Notts County.
All area quarter finals will be played during the week commencing 10th November 2014.
