Walsall Football Club midfielder Romaine Sawyers has today spoken of his belief that the Saddlers will be stronger next season, and will finish the campaign in a better position than this...Speaking to the Express & Star, Romaine said; "We showed for two-thirds of the season that we can be up there in the best six teams in the league. People say the table does not lie but I think this season it’s an exception.
“We deserve to be where we are whether it’s through bad luck against us or whether it’s performances against us or not scoring enough.
“I think our performances were steady enough, especially in the first two-thirds of the season. If we keep pushing and keep believing we will be there next season.”
