2013 END OF SEASON AWARDS - THE RESULTS

Walsall Football Club are currently holding their annual 'End of Season Awards', which this year includes a 125th Anniversary Dinner.
Yesterday Walsall Football Club held their annual 'End of Season Awards', which this year included a 125th Anniversary Dinner.

Amongst the usual categories were various special awards commemorating the clubs 125 year history.

The guest speaker for the evening is Lord Brian Mawhinney, Chairman of The Football League, he described clubs like Walsall Football Club as "the beating heart of English football", he went on to describe the club as a "beacon of sustainability and beacon of success".

He continued, "The state of football today is not good enough; but the club is a shining example of what it could be. The state of football today is not good enough, but this club is a shining example of what it could be."
