Walsall have signed former Aston Villa Academy striker Connor Taylor.
18-year-old Taylor joined Villa from Coventry Sphinx in 2010 on a two-year scholarship and impressed during his time at Villa Park but as a new managerial regime was installed he found himself surplus to requirements and was subsequently released at the end of last season.
Connor played a part in Saturday's 0-3 friendly defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers and has penned a deal until the end of the season.
