Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, who were recently unveiled as one of the Saddlers' official charity partners, is an independent healthcare provider of helicopter-led emergency medical services, providing lifesaving work and specialist care on a daily basis to patients at the scene of serious incidents across the Midlands.
They are also responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars across the largest ambulance operating region in the UK.
The charity has pledged to raise £150,000 by the end of 2028 to fund its critical care car, which supports night-time operations and delivers 24-hour emergency cover and with the support from the football club and Pallet-Track, they are already on their way to doing so.
With a pitchside advertising board donated by our Stadium Naming Rights Partners for another season, we are encouraging supporters from both clubs to show their own support this weekend where possible and help towards an extremely worthy cause.
Ahead of Saturday’s game, we’re encouraging all supporters to bring a pound to the ground and donate to the charity via their dedicated volunteers who will be present throughout the day, bucket collecting and maximising awareness. In addition, the MAAC will have merchandise on sale around the stadium as well as holding raffles and much more.
No matter how big or small the donation, you can play your part in helping the charity continue to offer its critical and specialist care in times of need.
The Club looks forward to welcoming the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium in what’s set to be a busy but exciting matchday for a whole host of reasons!
