Walsall have confirmed the signing of Harrogate Town winger Reece Smith, who arrives at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.24-year-old Smith joined the recently-relegated Sulphurites from Maidenhead United last summer and went on to make fifty-two first-team appearances, scoring three goals. across an ultimately disappointing 2025/26 campaign.
Walsall boss Lee Grant is delighted to welcome Reece to the club, and hopes he will add speed and energy to te attacking line.
Speaking via the club's official website, Lee said; "I'm absolutely delighted to have Reece join us.
"He's someone we've had our eye on for a very long time and the club have worked extremely hard to get this deal over the line as he's someone who's been in demand this summer given his performances last year at Harrogate.
"Reece is someone who wants to excite - he’ll bring speed and energy to our forward unit and we look forward to him showing his personality on the ball this season.
"It's another coup for the club and I'm very much looking forward to seeing him represent the badge and give 100% every time he steps onto the pitch."
