The Club has published the Fan Engagement Report for the 2025/26 season, highlighting another year of meaningful progress in how it connects with supporters, strengthens community relationships and enhances the matchday experience. The report outlines the continued development of Saddlers United, the community‑led inclusion programme delivered in partnership with Walsall FC Foundation. Over the past year, the initiative has grown significantly, with culturally themed fixtures, youth involvement, faith representation, accessibility improvements and more than 1,500 complimentary tickets distributed to local families and community groups.
The Club maintained clear and accessible communication throughout the season, including two well‑attended Fan Forums, regular senior‑level updates, programme messages from Executive Board members at every home fixture, and supporter drop‑in sessions available on every matchday. Post‑match surveys continued to provide valuable insight, and the recent BBC WM Meet the Head Coach & Head of Football event was particularly well received, giving supporters a fresh opportunity for open dialogue and direct engagement.
The Fan Focus Groups, covering Matchday Experience, Ticketing/Retail/Commercial, and Fan Engagement & Communication continued into their second season, ensuring supporter voices remain embedded in decision‑making.
The season also brought notable recognition. We once again achieved Gold status in the EFL Family Excellence Awards, ranked 3rd in League Two for Family Excellence, and secured Bronze in the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion category at the Football Business Awards for our work on Saddlers United.
James Gibbins, Experience & Engagement Director & Fan Engagement Lead said: "I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made this season.
"Our supporters continue to be the heartbeat of this football club, and the growth of Saddlers United, our themed matchdays and our communication channels shows how committed we are to listening, improving and building a club that truly reflects its community.
"The recognition we’ve received nationally is a credit to everyone involved, but most importantly to our fans, whose passion and loyalty drive us forward."
