Albert Adomah Pens New One-Year Walsall Deal

The veteran attacker will remain in the Black Country for at least another season.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall have confirmed that Albert Adomah has committed his future to the club by signing a new one-year contract at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

38-year-old Adomah made some fifty-one first-team appearances last season and made himself a firm fan favourite with a handful of goals across a season that saw him score his 100th career goal before going on to make his 100th appearance for the club, ahead of becoming the first player in history to make 100 appearances for six different clubs.

Speaking via the club's official website, the veteran was delighted to agree new terms, he said: "I'm really pleased and delighted to be staying with the Saddlers for another season.

"I've had two seasons at the club now, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here both on and off the pitch – everyone has been great with me, so it was an easy decision for me to continue for another year.

"I've had positive conversations with the new Head Coach, I feel really loved by the supporters, and I just want to keep playing as much as I possibly can, help the team wherever I can and give my experiences and knowledge to the younger players to help them develop.

"It's time to get back to work for another pre-season, I'm looking forward to the challenge, and I just can't wait to get going again."
