The Football Association has confirmed the round dates for the 2026/27 running of the Emirates FA Cup, which will mark the 146th time it has taken place.The tournament will begin with the Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday, 8th August 2026, and its First Round Proper will take place around the weekend of Saturday, 7th November 2026.
The Third Round Proper is scheduled around the weekend of Saturday, 9th January 2027, and the competition will culminate with the Final at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Saturday, 22nd May 2027.
As ever, the Saddlers will enter the competition at the First Round (proper) stage and hope to make it through at least a few rounds, with a potentially money-making clash against a Premier League outfit waiting in the Third Round.
