'Forever Grateful' Daniel Kanu Issues Parting Statement

The young striker enjoyed a successful spell at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsOn-loan Charlton Athletic striker Daniel Kanu has taken to social media to thank all at Walsall FC as he prepares to return to his parent club at the conclusion of his season-long loan spell.

Scoring eighteen goals across forty-five first-team appearances, 21-year-old Kanu was named Player, Young Player, and Players' Player of the Season at the recent End of Season Awards ceremony at the PalletTrack Bescot Stadium.

Speaking via his official social media accounts, Daniel said: "It has been a great privilege to represent this club this season.

"I’m truly grateful to the staff and players for their support and for making me feel welcome, and to the fans for standing by us throughout the season.

"Forever grateful, God bless you all."
