Interim Walsall boss Darren Byfield admitted he was 'really disappointed' after the Saddlers were thrashed four-nil by Cheltenham Town on Saturday afternoon.
Looking to rebound from a first defeat in six previous games, the game reached the half-time break without a goal; however, they went on to concede four to see their Play-Off hopes all but end.
Speaking to the assembled media, Darren said, "Disappointed, really disappointed.
"As a football club, that's not what you want. I know what this football club's all about, and what we want is players to keep going from the first whistle to the last.
"As a football club, that's not what you want. I know what this football club's all about, and what we want is players to keep going from the first whistle to the last.
"Today we didn't do it, so we have to have a look at ourselves, and we have to go again on Monday."
Despite reaching the break with a clean sheet, Byfield insisted he was far from pleased with his side's first-half display. He continued, "Even in the first half, I wasn't happy.
"We're not set up to be passive, and I felt we were today, even in the first half. I know we had a good chance and hit the bar, but it still wasn't good enough.
"We want to get after teams, we want to show that energy, that aggressiveness, but today we didn't have it."
